Clash of the Titans Synopsis

Clash of the Titans is the story of Perseus, played by Sam Worthington, who was born as a god, but raised as a man.  As Hades, played by Ralph Hiennes, attempts to seize power from Zeus, played by Liam Neeson, Perseus steps up to lead a band of warriors in a dangerous mission to defeat Hades and bring order to the world.  In Clash of the Titans Perseus must venture deep into the underworld, battling hideous beasts and powerful enemies.  In order to survive Perseus must embrace his power as a god in order to save his people from the wrath of Hades.

This film is based on the 1981 film by the same name.  The 1981 movie was met with rave reviews and it is expected that audiences will love this remake as well.  There is just something about Greek mythology that makes for great movies and the fact that this movie is loosely based on the myth of Perseus gives the film a definite advantage going into the opening weekend.
